What’s happening in Rakaia
Don’t bring food – we have it all. You can breakfast at Salmon Tales then throughout the day enjoy the organised food such as healthy bread rolls, BBQ, hot chips, great coffee and a bar for all your refreshments.
Junior Ride and Run the Rakaia – great fun for the kids!!
This junior duathlon has three age groups and two courses – 8-10; 11-12; 13-15.
Awesome age group prizes and all finishers receive a reward. Spot prizes too!!!
Early bird Entry Fee only $5 if paid before February 26th or $10 which can be paid up to March 3rd, but must be in before 8.15am at the Rakaia Domain.
Distance:
8-10yr olds – bike 1410mtrs and run 420mtrs - a combined total of 1830mtrs.
11-15yr olds- bike 2330mtrs on road then run a section of the Rakaia Walkway 2340mtrs – a combined total of 4670mtrs.
Both courses start and finish at the Domain. Come on kids give it a go!!! Click here for entry form.
Amazing Craft Markets – The sites will be open from 9.15am at the Rakaia Domain. We have such a varied range coming from Christchurch, Timaru, Kaiapoi, Asbhurton, Methven and Rakaia. The choice is yours from metal garden art, plants, jewellery, organically made Artisan preserves & condiments, art, clothing…and so much more. There is something for everyone.
